Our story began in 2009, when Graeme Cook, former staff member Owen Evans and then-Principal Mark Wilson shared a vision for the future of Cashmere High School.
With just $650 and an ambitious goal, they established the Cashmere High School Foundation to provide lasting philanthropic support for the school and generations of students to come.
Inspired by the enduring friendships, generosity and connection of Cashmere’s founding pupils, that original vision continues to guide our work today.
Our purpose is to strengthen the Cashmere community by building meaningful connections and inspiring people to contribute their time, talent and financial support.
Our vision is a thriving and connected community where students, staff and alumni are supported to reach their potential; and where every generation has the opportunity to benefit from an exceptional Cashmere experience.
Support for the Foundation helps turn possibility into opportunity.
Through donations, bequests, memberships and partnerships, we invest in scholarships, facilities, resources and initiatives that enrich school life. From learning, the arts and sport to wellbeing and community connection, every contribution helps our students and staff reach further while creating a legacy for generations to come.
